I was living in the future, the world of “when” and “if”. These were my thoughts, see if they sound familiar:
“I will be so happy when I finally land that great job . . . get that raise I deserve”
“Life will be wonderful if I can finally work for myself.”
“I will really feel great when I lose those 10 pounds.”
“My life will be perfect when I meet the right man.”
I spent so much time focused on the future that I couldn’t be happy in the now!
Then I had a life-changing moment. In 2009 my world was turned upside down and I was forced to truly evaluate what I wanted and where I was going.
Things had to change for me, there was no other choice.
So Who Am I?
I’ve have had many roles in my life including daughter, wife, stepmom, friend, teacher, event planner, speaker, writer, fundraiser, walker, student, life coach and most importantly . . . a unique creation of God.
I know what it’s like to be a perfectionist and people pleaser. To experience burnout and not know how to handle it. I know what it’s like to worry about what other people think. What it’s like to feel “not good enough”. To be pulled in many different directions based on what other people need. To think that everyone else is moving forward in their lives and I’m just staying “stuck”.
Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be my greatest limitation to becoming who I want to be. And I know how to over come that limitation and put my life back in balance based on what I want, not what others want.
As a coach, I am known for my user-friendly tools that help people to shed their limits, shift their thoughts and create success on their own terms. I support my clients to dig deep, connect with what’s meaningful to them and share their true gifts with purpose. I believe that everyone is fully equipped with everything they need right now – resources, answers, next steps – to approach their current situation and their life as a whole in a way that allows them to go further with considerably less effort. I guide my clients to access that information and claim who they are, what they want, and why they want it.

Women are caretakers and nurturers, but sadly we put ourselves last. Unfortunately, you can’t pour tea from an empty pot. I can help you expand your comfort zones, find balance in your life and live with more joy. I welcome the opportunity to share in your journey.

About the Hummingbird
In Native American culture, a hummingbird symbolizes timeless joy and the Nectar of Life. It’s a symbol for accomplishing that which seems impossible and will teach you how to find the miracle of joyful living from your own life circumstances. It is also a symbol of resurrection as it seems to die on cold nights, but comes back to life again at sunrise.
